🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Take a Moment for Your Breast Health 

This October, Sint Maarten Diagnostic Center (SMDC) is proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by encouraging women in our community to take a moment for their breast health.

As part of this initiative, SMDC, in collaboration with LV Medical Clinic, HVW Medical Clinic, Positive Foundation, and ElektraLYETS Foundation, will be offering FREE Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE) on selected days throughout October.

A Clinical Breast Examination is a physical examination of the breasts performed by a healthcare professional to check for any unusual changes, lumps, or other findings that may require further evaluation. 

🎀 Clinical Breast Examination Days 

Our Clinical Breast Examination days will take place at Sint Maarten Diagnostic Center:

📅 October 14^th at 10:00 AM 

📅 October 21^st at 10:00 AM

🎀 Early Awareness Matters

Being familiar with your breast health and speaking with a healthcare professional when you notice a change are important parts of taking care of yourself.

If further evaluation or imaging is recommended following your examination, our healthcare professional will advise you on the appropriate next steps.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite our community to come together, raise awareness, and encourage the women in our lives to make their health a priority.
